Within this month’s issue of the K.C.C newsletter we would like to say one big farewell to our talented and wonderful children from Destiny Africa, who after a fantastic tour, have now landed back home to Kampala Children’s Centre. From football stadiums to schools, churches to 10 Downing Street, the children have had a wonderful journey raising awareness of K.C.C and having fun along the way.

We believe the Inspire Africa tour has been a great and wonderful success! We have enjoyed blessing people with the message the choir shared of hope and transformation, which is so evident in their lives. We are excited and thankful for all the great funds and awareness the tour raised for Kampala Children's Centre, we have gathered many new contacts and built new relationships as the choir travelled the up and down the country.

In addition, the tour provided a great wealth of experiences and opportunities for the choir members from performing in various churches, schools, theatres, national concert halls and football stadiums. The children performed at Spring Harvest Christian Festival to an audience of around 1,500 people whilst holding the greatest privilege to perform at number 10 Downing Street! What an adventure! You will also be pleased to hear the children benefited from many educational experiences too from partaking in many British school lessons, such as outdoor science lessons and emergency first aid training.

If that wasn't enough the choir also met the Archbishop of York, the cast of the Lion King Musical and featured upon many different radio stations and local papers. Despite this, the choir did find time for lots of fun together! From swimming activities, playing in the sea to lots of movies and eating KFC!
A word from the Tour Manager, Tim Coleman

'We would like to say thank you to all volunteers who have helped the tour in so many different areas, without your help the tour would not have operated or become a success. Please know your efforts, time and passion has truly made a difference, thank you for your help and generosity we are deeply appreciative.
The members of Destiny Africa Children's Choir deserve the biggest thanks and it was a credit to see how well they worked, played and performed together during their time with us. We pray they continue to grow and develop into what God calls them to be both individually and as a choir. You are very much loved and missed already!'
